Good to know
How accurate is it?
It reads your device’s clock each frame rather than counting ticks, so it does not drift, and it shows hundredths of a second. For a sports day or a science experiment that is more precise than the thumb pressing the button.
What do the laps show?
Each lap shows its own time and the total time at that moment. With three laps or more, the fastest lap is marked green and the slowest red.
Can I save the lap times?
“Copy laps” puts them on the clipboard separated by tabs, so they paste straight into the columns of a spreadsheet.
What if I close the tab while it is running?
Open the page again on the same device and the stopwatch is still running, with the right time. It is kept in your browser until you reset it.
